Lots of the Art Trail artists have kindly donated a piece of their work to be auctioned off with the proceeds going back into funding the Leigh Art Trail this summer.

Mark Stacey of Stacey Auction House will be controlling the bidding.

It's a really exciting night and you get to see some quite nearvous artists and a free glass of wine.
If you can't quite streatch to the big pieces there is also a secret postcard sale for just  5 pounds.
Waitrose have kindly donated a hamper, the proceeds of which, will be going to HARP.

Less than a week to go, artists are frantically working away ready for the first day of Leigh art Trail this coming Saturday 16th June-23rd.

This year there are some extra special guests and some extra ordinary events/ installations,So keep your eyes peeled, quite frankly some will be hard to miss..........

Leigh Art Trail 16th-23rd June

A range of established and new artists  and this year like last some really exciting events.
Rooms filled with spiky ballons, and deconstructed Zepplin, and a church as a pin hole Camera.

Leigh Art Trail Auction

The Leigh Art Trail annual fundraising auction will be taking place on Friday, 18th November from 7:30pm.

The venue is the Leigh Community Centre, Elm Road, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 1SP.

Come along and get your chance to bid on works by some of Leigh's best known artists.

Also on the night:

- "Secret Postcard" feature: all artists have been asked to produce a postcard-sized piece of work for which secret envelopes will be sold at £5.00 each.

- a hamper raffle in aid of "Serving the Homeless", a Southend-based charity aiming to provide 1,500 Christmas lunches to homeless people in Southend.
